|Recommended: YesBeautiful, Home Like Feel — You get to be independent and live on your own, but also have a community feel. They are like upgraded dorms, without all of the rules. Need your own space Lock your room, go to the pool, play sand volleyball, or go to the workout room that is always open.
|Recommended: YesConvenient, good staff and value — I spent two and a half years at the Villas and had an excellent overall experience. The staff was always helpful and willing to listen to concerns and suggestions. I felt it was easy to build a relationship with them by communicating honestly.
It is true that parking can be an issue, particularly if you return in the evenings while classes are in session. The supplemental lot next door has helped solve the problem. You can hear your neighbors if their noise is spilling into the hallway, although I very rarely heard outside noise while inside my room, unless it was coming from my roommates.
Really, though the Villas offers good value for what you get, especially if you come from suburbs of a larger city like I did. I enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk to work and class and have close access to I-35 when I wanted to leave town. I would recommend taking advantage of the renting option that includes all the utilities. The staff always took care of everything I asked for and made a consistent effort to improve the services available to the residents, and build a sense of community.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live - highly recommended :) — This is the best-managed apartment complex I ve ever lived in, and I ve lived in about seven in three different cities. The apartments are well-kept, management is friendly and responsive to residents, and there s not much to complain about. The best part is that you get your own bathroom, rent is paid individually by each occupant, and utilities are included in the rent. These three factors alone contribute greatly to the ease of living here, as well as to the quality of the relationships between roommates. Remember sharing bathrooms with that dirty roommate who was never on top of their share of rent and bills? You don t have to worry about that here. All in all it s a great value.
